Destination: Deep Space Robot 2019

Destination: Deep Space Presented By The Boeing Company is the FIRST Robotics Competition game for the 2019 season. It involves two alliances of three teams each, with each team controlling a robot and performing specific tasks on a field to score points. The game centers around an outer space theme involving two alliances consisting of three teams each competing to place polycarbonate hatch covers and orange rubber balls or "cargo" on rockets and cargo ships before returning to their HAB platform to climb at the end of the match.

FIRST Power Up Robot 2018

FIRST Power Up involves two alliances of three teams each, with each team controlling a robot and performing specific tasks on a field to score points. The game has a retro 8-bit theme and teams are required to place milk crates, or "power cubes", on large balancing scales to tip the scale and gain ownership. Alliances can also trade power cubes for power ups, giving them a temporary advantage in a match. At the end of the match, robots can climb the tower attached to the centre balancing scale using a rung attached to the tower, giving them additional points.

FIRST Steamworks Robot 2017

In FIRST® STEAMWORKS, the 2017 FIRST® Robotics Competition game, three-team alliance prepares in three ways:

1. Build steam pressure. Robots collect fuel (balls) and score it in their boiler via high and low efficiency goals.

2. Start rotors. Robots deliver gears to pilots on their airship for installation. Once the gear train is complete, they turn the crank to start the rotor.

3. Prepare for flight. Robots must latch on to their airship before launch (the end of the match) by ascending their ropes to signal that they’re ready for takeoff

First Stronghold Robot 2016

In FIRST STRONGHOLD, two Alliances of three robots each are on a Quest to breach their opponents’ fortifications, weaken their tower with boulders, and capture the opposing tower. Robots score points by breaching opponents’ defenses and scoring boulders through goals in the opposing tower. During the final 20 seconds of the Quest, robots may surround and scale the opposing tower to capture it.

Recycle Rush Robot 2015

From usfirst.org, "RECYCLE RUSH℠ is a recycling-themed game designed for the 2015 FIRST Robotics Competition© (FRC). It is played by two Alliances of three Teams each. Alliances compete simultaneously to score points by stacking Totes on Scoring Platforms, capping those stacks with Recycling Containers, and properly disposing of Litter, represented by pool noodles, in designated locations. In keeping with the recycling theme of the game, all scoring elements used are reusable or recyclable by teams in their home locations or by FIRST at the end of the season."  For competition specifics, visit http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/competition-manual-and-related-documents

Aerial Assist℠ Robot, 2014

This robot was created for the 2014 FIRST Robotics Competition©.  From usfirst.org, "AERIAL ASSIST℠ is played by two competing Alliances of three robots each on a flat 25’ x 54’ foot field, straddled by a truss suspended just over five feet above the floor. The objective is to score as many balls in goals as possible during a 2-minute and 30-second match. The more Alliances score their ball in their goals, and the more they work together to do it, the more points their Alliance receives."  For competition specifics, visit http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/archived-game-documentation-and-event-results

Ultimate Ascent℠ Robot, 2013

This robot was created for the 2013 FIRST Robotics Competition©.  From usfirst.org, "ULTIMATE ASCENT℠ is played by two competing alliances on a flat, 27 x 54 ft field. Each alliance consists of three robots. They compete to score as many discs into their goals as they can during a 2-minute and 15-second match. The higher the goal in which the disc is scored, the more points the alliance receives."  For competition specifics, visit http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/archived-game-documentation-and-event-results.

Rebound Rumble℠ Robot, 2012

This robot was created for the 2012 FIRST Robotics Competition©.  From usfirst.org, "Rebound Rumble℠ is played by two competing Alliances on a flat, 27 x 54 foot field. Each Alliance consists of three robots. They compete to score as many basketballs into their hoops as they can during a 2 minute and 15 second match. The higher the hoop in which the basketball is scored, the more points the Alliance receives."  For competition specifics, visit http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/archived-game-documentation-and-event-results.

Logo Motion Robot℠, 2011

This robot was created for the 2011 FIRST Robotics Competition©.  From usfirst.org, "LOGO MOTION℠ is played by two competing alliances on a flat 27’ x 54’ foot field.  Each alliance consists of three robots. They compete to hang as many inflated plastic shapes (triangles, circles, and squares) on their grids as they can during a 2 minute and 15 second match. The higher the teams hang their game pieces on their scoring grid, the more points their alliance receives."  For competition specifics, visit http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/archived-game-documentation-and-event-results.

Breakaway℠ Robot, 2010

This robot was created for the 2010 FIRST Robotics Competition©.  From usfirst.org, "Breakaway℠ is a game played on the FIELD. Two ALLIANCES, one red and one blue, composed of three FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) teams each, compete in each MATCH. The object of the game is to attain a higher score than your opponent by shooting BALLS into a GOAL, climbing on the ALLIANCE TOWER or PLATFORM, or by lifting an ALLIANCE ROBOT off the PLAYING SURFACE."  For competition specifics, visit http://www.usfirst.org/roboticsprograms/frc/archived-game-documentation-and-event-results.
